The story

I have been fascinated by beautifully crafted letters and fine stationery for as long as I can remember. Long before I began my calligraphy journey, I admired the way thoughtful writing could carry beauty, meaning and intention.

As I learned, I discovered that calligraphy is not about perfect strokes. It is about trusting the process. Every script is learned through practice, mistakes, feedback, refinement and repetition. Even after mastering a style, the journey begins again as new ideas reshape what you already know.

That belief shapes the way I teach and practise every day. As the Founder of The Calligraphy Foundation, my goal is to help learners build strong foundations, think like artists, and grow through a disciplined, lifelong practice.

The Foundation

The Calligraphy Foundation was created with a simple yet ambitious purpose, to bring the art and discipline of calligraphy back into Indian classrooms. From the beginning it has been a collective effort, built through the experience, dedication and countless hours contributed by mentors, volunteers and educators who believed the community deserved a stronger learning ecosystem.

Together they developed structured learning pathways, meaningful mentorship and a culture of disciplined practice. Today the Foundation continues to support learners who wish to study calligraphy seriously, with purpose, patience and strong educational foundations.
