These terms apply to every workshop offered by The Calligraphy Foundation. Please read them before you enrol.
Enrolment
A seat is confirmed once the fee is received. A conversation with the mentor takes place before payment, so that you enrol on the workshop best suited to your level.
Every workshop is taught by Raghunita Gupta. Brush Pen admits on a rolling basis. Devanagari and Copperplate open a new batch every two months, and Flourishing every six months, subject to mentor availability.
Fees and payment
Fees are payable by UPI or bank transfer. Each fee includes the live sessions and the course kit.
Brush Pen ₹8,000 · Devanagari ₹9,500 · Copperplate ₹17,500 · Flourishing ₹7,000.
Refunds
All fees are non refundable once enrolment is confirmed. If you discontinue after attending one or more sessions, the remaining fee is not refunded.
Please enrol only if you are able to commit to the schedule and the practice it requires.
Attendance and missed sessions
Progress is tracked individually rather than by batch, so a missed session resumes from the point where you last stopped. Up to three missed sessions may be adjusted within the course. Frequent or extended breaks may require additional sessions at extra cost.
Recordings and materials
Sessions are live and are not recorded. Students are asked not to record any session. Course materials, handouts and practice sheets are for personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced.
Festivals and breaks
Classes generally pause on major Indian festivals. If both mentor and student are available a session may run by mutual agreement. Any break is adjusted within the course, so no sessions are lost.
Re attendance
A student may repeat a batch within one year at 50% of the fee, subject to availability.
Certification
No certificate is issued for these workshops. Progress is assessed continuously and a final submission is completed at the end of the course.
